We enjoyed another busy bank holiday with Fane Productions last weekend, beginning with the wonderful Bryony Gordon at the Southbank Centre and ending with the last performance of Rose McGowans’ Brave UK Tour. On Sunday we also enjoyed the first performance of Michael Morpurgo’s 75th Anniversary Tour, as well as the talented best seller Elizabeth Day talking about How to Fail at The Bridge, and Dame Patricia Routledge on stage at the Theatre Royal Haymarket! Exciting weekend for sure!
Amour took us to Paris for the evening on Wednesday for its opening night at the Charing Cross Theatre. It was such a charming and delightful production that had us laughing all night,nd we’re thrilled to see that it received great reviews including 5 stars from Broadway World calling the UK premiere of Michel Legrand’s Amour musical ‘literally delightful’!
BalletBoyz announced they would be going to the Vaudeville Theatre from 3rd - 15th June with their critically acclaimed production of Them/Us. This will be mark the company’s West End premiere and hopefully lead to many more in the future. You’ll be taken on an exploration of human connections with Us, by Tony and Olivier Award-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon. Featuring all BalletBoyz dancers, the piece presents the company at its powerful best.
SIX The Musical shall have its international premiere at Chicago Shakespeare Theater on the 14th of May. We’ve seen some sassy images and heard their riff-tastic vocals on social media and cannot wait for the American audience to be taught some British her-story!
The Afterglow cast got to meet for the very first time (in just their briefs!) for their photoshoot, and have turned up the heat with rehearsals now in full swing! We can’t wait for the UK Premiere of this off-Broadway smash hit to grace the Southwark Playhouse stage from June 5th. The climax is just the beginning…
