We are thrilled to announce the acquisition of JHI by Fane Productions, joining a stable of literary and talent based companies headed by Original Talent Ltd.
Working alongside Fane Productions on recent tours with Stacey Dooley, Nigella Lawson, Gareth Malone and Grayson Perry, the synergies of both our companies and the benefits of working closer together became obvious. Now with the support of Fane Productions and Original Talent, we can achieve our greater ambition more quickly; to provide bespoke and original marketing campaigns to more live entertainment clients.
“We are so excited to have the support and backing of Fane Productions and Original Talent so we can concentrate on the work we do and provide it more economically and effectively to our clients. That this support comes from such a prestigious and creative stable, assures us that we are in good and faithful company.
We are looking to recruit 4 new roles immediately in Campaign Management, Sales and Ticketing and Digital Media to provide more effective services for current and future clients.” Take a look at our careers page for information!
Alex Fane, of Fane Productions says…
“Jo Hutchison has developed a company that is ready to shake-up the marketing industry and we are thrilled that they have decided to partner with us for the next stage of their company’s development. Within the Original Talent Group they can keep doing what they do for their clients to the same standards, but with greater resources, greater creative freedom and greater commercial reach.”

Original Talent Ltd
Original Talent was formed in 2016 with BBC Worldwide (now BBC Studios) as its strategic partner. Original Talent is the parent company of the UK’s largest and oldest literary agency, Curtis Brown. Under the Original Talent umbrella sits the literary agencies C&W (formerly Conville & Walsh), Ed Victor Ltd and the events company Fane Productions, as well as the production company Cuba Pictures and creative writing school Curtis Brown Creative.
In 2017 Original Talent acquired a majority stake in Tavistock Wood the boutique talent agency and its newly formed production company Open Book.
Original Talent’s objective is to provide a platform for Europe’s premier creative talent; writers, actors, performers, directors and promote its huge library of literary material in the most innovative and flexible way, by placing creative talent at the heart of the process.
Acknowledging the benefits of bespoke and individual relationships, Original Talent has a federal structure that allows different agency and production hubs to flourish. Clients have all the benefits of a boutique arrangement within a large-scale player. This new model of agency will create a European hub of talent and production that will have global reach.
