Cheers to another bank holiday weekend!
Our shiny new social media and content team have been getting stuck into the world of Mischief Theatre with their #MischiefMay campaign across The Play That Goes Wrong, A Comedy About A Bank Robbery and the upcoming season at the Vaudeville Theatre (Groan Ups and Magic Goes Wrong). They’ve been celebrating all things Mischief with charity partnerships, cast Instagram take overs, Q&As, influencer events and a gallery wall at the Theatre Café showing the worldwide presence! It’s been a busy month and while May might nearly be over, the mischief well and truly continues…WORLDWIDE!
Ben and Sophie shall be travelling to Sheffield to see the tour cast of The Comedy About a Bank Robbery who will be coming in to the West End from 25th June. On the Friday they shall be taking set-up studio shots. Let’s hope they capture those crooks!
Speaking of Mischief… The Play That Goes Wrong celebrated its 1,999th performance at the Duchess, and we cannot believe they have taken to the stage almost 2,000 times and still can’t quite get it right! If you were one of the unfortunate ones to attend the 1,999th performance, you will have had the added bonus of a Q&A by the one and only Terri Paddock - having an additional hour of going wrong with the cast. One of the audience members celebrated his 11th visit to the play and said he will keep coming back until they can get it right!
The incredible Vincent River had its press night on Tuesday, returning to Trafalgar Studios after 12 years. Despite the time passing, Philip Ridley’s writing is still as heart-wrenching as when first written! It was a fantastic night, with a brilliant audience reaction.
