Bank Holiday Galore!
What a glorious Bank Holiday we had. The beautiful hot sunshine came out for us as we enjoyed a long weekend. We hope that you all had lovely Easter breaks and, just remember, its only one more week until our next Bank Holiday!
First off in this week’s news, we are so excited to see Rob Brydon Probes Barry Humphries this Sunday at the London Palladium. We’ve loved working on this show and we’re looking forward to spending an evening with two legends of comedy!
The wonderful ladies from JHI attended the second Women in Theatre, Press and Marketing networking session this week – an organisation co-founded by our very own Jo Hutchison! These events are so important, and it’s incredibly exciting to be surrounded by inspiration women, who all have a different story but have so much in common.
We are also working with Fane Productions on even more exciting projects. This week we announced that best-selling author, LGBT activist and the subject of a new Netflix series, Armistead Maupin, will be going on a UK tour with a series of evening conversations. Also this week we announced the on sale of Michel Legrand ‘Remembered’. This show will be a tribute to the era-defining composer with an evening of jazz and cinema classics from Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra.
Our fabulous clients at Mischief Theatre announced this week the return of Peter Pan Goes Wrong to London in 2019 for a Christmas season at Alexandra Palace. This disastrous show will also be going on a UK tour.
The UK premiere of the five-time Tony Award nominated musical, Amour, opens next Thursday! It will be playing at the Charing Cross Theatre from May 2nd and we are delighted to be working on this wonderful show.
Last, but definitely not least, JHI attended SOBOM’s 40th Anniversary Gala at the Gillian Lynne Theatre this week. It was a great evening of celebration for one of the most amazing organisations in the West End! Happy birthday SOBOM!
